28 is great!!
today, is my official birthday, & boy, am i TIRED! normally, i would not want to just stay in an order a pizza on my birthday, but this weekend was exhausting!
this weekend was what i like to call the 'birthday-palooza aught eight!' because my friend, neal, that i grew up with in NY & shared an apartment with in Boston, visited thursday thru today. i haven't seen him since 2003, and that was only for a few hours. it was awesome!
his birthday was thursday, may 1st, and from the moment he landed, at dinner time thursday, it was non-stop eating, drinking, reminiscing, fun and laughter!
dinner at Cafe Campagne & my favorite restaurant in seattle, Lark; lots of drinking, and hardly any sleep.
i have been calling 2008 "the year of reunions". so far, i have seen my friend, olivia [who i hadn't seen since 2002], in NYC in march, and neal this weekend. my hope is to make it to NH in august to go to pia's wedding and see some other boston friends who also haven't seen me since i moved in 2002.
life is good, & i am tired...
